Stephen Pierce Internet Marketing Guru

I spent the last 2 days at the National Achievers Congress in KL where one of the 9 speakers was Stephen Pierce.

I'll write more about his 3 hour session in my friendster blog by Thursday, so do visit there later.

I was so impressed with his past students from his March 2007 workshop in singapore, who came up on stage. Over 50% of them are already getting traffic and sales within hours of setting up their sites.

I've signed up for his workshop, together with my business partner Peter for the 14-16 Sept, 2007 event in KL.

Any money from expiring domains?

Why do people with domain names that have so much traffic, allow them to expire and be sold in the open market for just US$ 5?.

I've been trying to figure this out, as on the internet, if you have traffic - i.e. many visitors to your site every month, why would you want to give up the site name?. Could it be the owner has forgotten to renew?. Quite unlikely as the domain register will be contacting you way before the expiry date.

Some internet gurus say you can earn money by buying these expiring domains, and earning money from the current traffic clicking on the advertising links provided by the free hosting service they provide, and by reselling these domain names later.

Seems quite unlikely to me, but then again, since I have no experience, I can only make a lay man's guess. Anyone who has earned money from expiring domains want to share your experience?.

So who wants to be a Matchmaker?

Why is it that so many ladies between 29-50 are approaching me to help them find their soul mate? Has my reputation been going around, that I even get requests from ladies, I have yet to meet before?

I am quite tickled...when every lady is looking for her knight in shining armour, coming to sweep her off her feet with a big car, give her a big house, pay her lots of $, and treat her like a queen.

Any available perfect gentleman, with a big heart, big car, big house, big pockets and big whatever, do contact me!.

I remember once at a NAC preview 2 years ago, they had a simple exercise. They called up 2 single and looking volunteers - a male and female.

And their first task was simply this - describe yourself (your character, your likes, your dislikes). Their second task was this - describe exactly your perfect match.

And the final task was - swap the results from project 2, between the guy and gal, and if you were this person - what exactly would be your perfect match.

So back to reality - the perfect guy you are looking for, is probably looking for someone totally different from who you are today!. So to attract the person you want, become the person your future partner is looking for. So go improve yourself first, or lower your expectations.

My advice to all ladies single and looking is:-

1. Go open up a free account in Friendster, Myspace, Hi5 or even in FriendFinder. In sites where the guy has to pay to become a member, you get better quality guys to meet.

I know of some friends who are happily married and they met through sites like Friendfinder , Senior FriendFinder(for those looking above 40), BigChurch (if you looking for Christian partners) Indian Friend Finder - if you looking for Indians) or Chinese FriendFinder (if you prefer Chinese)

2. Upload at least one nice photo of yourself - not passport or baby photo please. If you photo shows you in your favourite surroundings or with your favourite hobbies the better. Please make sure you have a full face shot and full body shot.

3. Be truthful about yourself and describe yourself in the third person. Meaning as if someone else is describing you. Make sure you fill up all your likes and dislikes and if you are quiet or homely, just say so.

4. Be specific about who you want to meet and if you are willing to relocate..meaning do you have family ties or commitments that keep you stuck in your present location. Also be very clear of the end result e.g. long term friendship, companionship or marriage

5. Be realistic about who you can attract, based on your age, education, looks and baggage that you carry - be it kids, ageing parents or an unhappy past.

6. Have fun and let nature take it's course. Don't sound or appear to be so desperate, so just be yourself and not someone you hope to be.

I wish you every success in finding what you are looking for. And if you need my advice, I am just a buzz away, so don't hesitate to call if I can help.

Traffic = money in your pocket

What's the number 1 thing that can help with your success?

In Real Estate - Location is everything.
In Gambling - its knowing your odds

And on the Internet - traffic is what puts money in your pocket. The more traffic you get, the higher advertisers will pay you to list their adverts, you get paid to review other people's sites and you get better sales conversions. Conversions simply means the percentage of traffic that converts into earnings for you.

So back to blog traffic...so many guru's out there - but my goal is to get traffic for free. So that I can share with everyone with no money, how they can earn money too.

I've reviewed so many high page rank blogs and they have 2 common features - 1. they update frequently and 2. they are linked out to many blog sites.

So my next present project is to copy all their blog links out and see if this helps with my page ranking and subsequently increase in traffic.

Please pray for me and wish me luck. Thanks for the visit.

Casting the Net for money

Did you catch this news article in the NST friday May 11, 2007?.

They interviewed 3 Malaysian men - a Chinese 27, an Indian 27 and a Malay 32,who are earning a five figure incomes, working online from home.

Here are some of the areas that they focus on

a) Google adsense pay per click adverts that others click on their blogs and websites
b) Higher paying adsense clicks based on higher traffic the site generates
c) Selling advertising space
d) Pay per action - people actually buy from the adverts and they earn a commission
e) Selling ebooks and software
f) Affiliate programs selling products for others

An eye opener for you, to know some Malaysians earn a full time income working online from home?. So is there hope for you?. I am certain you too can also be successful.

Goldquest, Questnet, Quest International Group MD arrested for fraud

Success in MLM, starts by selecting the right company to join

Over the last 8 years, so many people have approached me over various so called business opportunities. To my dear friends in Goldquest and Quest Int'l - I told you so!

Even today, I chatted with someone who had just joined a brand new company - not even opened up yet in Malaysia.

Here's my advice on the 12 key points on how to select the right company to join , to anyone looking to start a home based business - especially a MLM business.

1. Find an established 10 year old company - that has withstood a recession and come back even stronger. 70% of new startups never last over 3 years, and 95% close within 6 years

2. Find a company selling not 1 product - but a range of fast moving unique consumable products that everyone in the family can use and have to replenish every month. We have seen companies just dealing with Noni - and once it becomes popular, thousands of cheap imitations come out and the original company collapses.

3. Find products that have real customers - meaning people will buy the products whether they can earn money or not. It is not MLM but a pyramid, if only members buy and members cannot find customers who will pay retail prices. I sell products through Ebay and find customers easily, who pay me retail prices.

4. After 50 years of MLM, the top MLM companies in the world are all American Companies. Simply put - American made products have the best quality in every market. Not the products made in Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, China, Germany or Australia.

5. Find a company that has its own R & D and manufacturing, so you always have the latest and newest products. and price controlled through owning your own products. Forget the trading companies that take 10 year licensed products to sell in limited markets

6. Check the owners of the company and the company history through a simple google search of comapany name/owners name followed by scam, fraud & legal. If the owners have a bad reputation, stay clear or if they are in legal battle over patents and ownership rights over their single product like Xango - stay even further away.

7. Look for products in a sunrise industry - e.g. wellness. Target those that are clinically proven, patented and are already listed in Doctor's Journals.

8. No need to look for new start-ups. If the company is really good, there will always be lots of opportunity, even after 10 years!. But if the company has been around for 30 years and already in 30 countries, then it's too late for you!

9. Companies with binary plans are banned in many countries including Malaysia. So why choose them when there are so many other companies with approved payment plans.

10. Find passion in your products, use them daily and the results will show 3, 5, 10 and even 20 years from today. I plan to look younger and younger each day. Wanna bet?

11. Find a sponsor or sponsorship line who have at least 5 years experience in the same company. That way, you know you have experienced and loyal coaches.

12. Find a company with an international pay plan. Meaning you can sponsor internationally and earn immediately.

For the average folks putting in part time effort, it takes 3-6 years to build a reputation and to learn the skills to build a sustainable network. MLM is not a vegetable business - you dont expect a good harvest monthly, unless you are in the direct selling business. MLM is a tree planting business - we do the work 3-6 years, and then when the work is done, we can enjoy the fruits monthly and for many, many years.

I may be biased, but over the last 8 years, I've built a buisness with Unicity - The Make Life Better company from USA and today have 5 clinically proven products that everyone is looking for. Today, my Bioslife Franchise business is booming and many people like the simple personal franchise business that Bioslife offers.

Clixsense update

Been an exciting month with Clixsense. In my first month as a premium member, I received a check for US$ 10.64.

Oh my mistake - I forgot to change the limit to pay checks and they sent me one as the default was US$10. The reason is simply this - they deduct US$3 for processing and the worst is this - the bank fees to clear this check in Singapore or Malaysia will wipe out the whole amount.

Talk about learning from experience. So if you live in Singapore or Malaysia, go set up this check limit to $20, $50 or $100.

Another thing - lots of adverts these days are only to available to premium members, and there is a US$ 5 bonus if you upgrade this month to premium and can get some friends to upgrade too.

There is a chinese saying - if small money go out, small money come in. For big money to come in, big money must go out. So my question to you is, US$10 in your bank can't make you rich, but in Clixsense, US$10 can give you some excitement for 1 year, and with a few people signng up under you, could give you some extra pocket money monthly.

Does Technorati work like Feedburner?

I've been using Feedburner for a few months now, and found it really helps my site with traffic. Been getting lots of subscribers and lots of hits through Feedburner.

Just today, I found Technorati. So it's been a busy Monday, claiming my 6 blogs and making some small layout changes to my blogs.

Will update you on my blog progress after listing with Technorati. Anyone using this service, have info to share with me?

It's tough when you try it all alone, but if you have a team of like minded people, sharing ideas and encouraging each other on, it helps with the support and encouragement.
